The development of natural resource management in various regions often gives rise to conflict. Agrarian conflicts are the most frequent. In Central Kalimantan Province, specifically in Kapuas Regency, a group of Indigenous Peoples, the Dayak tribe, inhabits customary land. Land conflicts in the Kapuas region are generally related to land and natural resource disputes, particularly related to palm oil expansion and coal mining. Based on this, we will examine the protection of customary rights of Indigenous Peoples in the Kapuas Hilir jurisdiction.
