Digital transformation in notarial practice in Indonesia presents new opportunities and challenges through the implementation of cyber notary. Digitalization enables efficiency, security, and expansion of access to notarial services, especially through the use of electronic signatures, and digital documents. However, the implementation of cyber notary is faced with a number of legal obstacles, especially the disharmony between the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and the Notary Law (UUJN), which creates legal uncertainty regarding the validity of electronic documents. In addition, issues of data security and human resource readiness are also major challenges. This study analyzes the legal aspects of the implementation of cyber notary in Indonesia and emphasizes the importance of regulatory harmonization and increasing technological literacy for notaries so that digital transformation can run optimally without sacrificing the integrity of the existing legal system.
